The Abu Dhabi T10 Cricket League 2019 has been sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and will take place from November 15th to 24th, 2019, at Sheikh Zayed International Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
8 Teams will take part in the T10 league in 2019. Team Abu Dhabi was unveiled as the 8th team at the championship before the start of the player draft and also will join Delhi Bulls, Karnataka Tuskers, Deccan Gladiators, Qalandars, Northern Warriors, Maratha Arabians and Bangla Tigers in the Function.
Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichhane obtained picked up from Karnataka Tuskers at the players’ draft of the Abu Dhabi T10 League. Sandeep has represented Kerala Kings in the 2nd version of this T10 league played last year in Sharjah. Team Abu Dhabi has roped in ex-captain of Nepal international group, Paras Khadka, as part of their group for the championship. This will be Khadka’s first major franchise-based adventure outside the T20 leagues in Nepal, having previously featured in USA T20X and T20 occasion in Singapore.
Both the players’ are in UAE, taking part in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers using their various countries. As per the tournament rules, all teams are needed to have a minimum of two UAE-based players in their squads.
Khadka’s Addition in Team Abu Dhabi comes following the announcement from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) the national team players (contracted) will not be issued NOC (No-Objection Certificates) to Participate in the T10 occasion and instead will be getting involved in a workout camp ahead of national first-class matches. That meant That Mohammed Amir that had been picked up by Team Abu Dhabi, would not be taking part in the tournament. Similarly, all of the teams have chosen Pakistan players From the draft will need to announce replacements in case PCB endure isn’t altering Before the beginning of the tournament.
